He played his first professional game of the regular-season debut during the Cincinnati Bengals’ season-opening 24-21 defeat against the Chicago Bears. On the 6th of Week, he made his first tackle of his career on Marquise Goodwin along with his teammate Reggie Nelson during Goodwin’s 26-yard kick return. He also assisted on two tackles during the Bengals winning 27-24 in overtime against The Buffalo Bills. On the 27th of October, 2013, Williams recorded his first solo tackle against quarterback Matt Simms after he rushed for 22 yards during the 4th quarter. Williams ended the Bengals winning 49-9 against The New York Jets with a record-setting four total tackles in the season after taking over Taylor Mays, as the principal backup safety because of an injury.
